Our Story

Proper Thread is a Wisconsin-based screen print shop proudly owned and operated by Hunter and Adyson Higgins. After years managing a high-production screen printing facility in Denver, we chose to return home to Wisconsin to build our own business and be closer to family.

With over 15 years of combined experience, we specialize in apparel decoration—overseeing every step from design to production with care and precision.

Our offerings include manual screen printing, direct-to-film (DTF) transfers, embroidery, design services, promotional products, and live printing services where we bring our craft directly to you. Whether you need custom tees for your business, hats for your team, or merchandise for your next event, we work closely with you to make the process straightforward and collaborative.
